🌱 Volunteer with a Purpose in the Heart of Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰

We’re an educational initiative based in the scenic village of Loolkandura, in the Nuwara Eliya district, 150 km from Colombo Airport. For over 26 years, we’ve supported Sri Lankan children aged 5 to 18 through creative, activity-based learning that complements their regular schooling.

💡 What We Do

Our students attend public school during the day, and with us, they explore learning in new ways—through outdoor adventures, games, art, music, dance, sports, and cultural activities. We also host online and onsite classes, making it possible for children from across the country to join in. Additionally, volunteers sometimes assist at nearby schools, supporting local communities without financial motives.

🙌 Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who can help with:

• English and French

• Computers, science, math, geography, commerce, history, or health

• Arts: singing, dancing, painting, music

• Sports: football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, netball, etc.

Whether you’re a coach, teacher, artist, or just enthusiastic and resourceful, your time here will make a difference. You don’t need to be a professional—we value passion and creativity!

🏡 What We Offer

• Stay with a local host family in a private room

• Enjoy three home-cooked Sri Lankan meals daily, plus snacks and tea/juice

• Immerse in village life and culture

• Free time to explore the region on weekends—host families can help arrange visits

We ask for 5 hours of volunteering per day, 5 days a week. On weekends, you’re free to travel—or relax at the homestay at no extra cost.
