Welcome to our eco-friendly lodge nestled in Kataragama, a sacred and serene town located 238 km southeast of Colombo. Surrounded by lush jungle, sacred rivers, tranquil lakes, and right on the border of Yala National Park, our lodge is a haven for wildlife lovers and those seeking a deeper connection with nature and sustainability.

We are a family-run eco lodge built on permaculture, spiritual principles, and sustainable tourism. Our peaceful retreat features:

• 6 rustic eco rooms

• A mud-house restaurant

• A spacious jungle garden

• An organic farm with rice and seasonal veggies

• Yoga, meditation retreats, and responsible safaris

👥 Meet the Team

Muna, from Sri Lanka, is the heart and soul of this place—owner, host, and nature guide with deep knowledge of the area, wildlife, and spirituality.

Carla, from Portugal, manages the back office, bookings, and events. She brings a global touch to the lodge and keeps our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Together, we’ve been working in eco-tourism and sustainability for over 15 years, creating a space for cultural exchange, mindful living, and conscious travel.

Volunteering here means becoming part of our eco-lifestyle and helping with the day-to-day operations of the lodge. We’re looking for active, reliable, and nature-loving people who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You’ll support us with:

• General maintenance & cleaning

• Housekeeping & room preparation

• Gardening & outdoor work

• Welcoming guests & helping in the restaurant

• (When busy, we may work in two shifts: morning & evening)

📅 Volunteer Requirements

• Minimum stay: 3 weeks (ideally 1 month)
