I warmly welcome you to our small, family-run homestay located in a calm and green neighborhood just 10 minutes away from the historic city of Kandy.

Our homestay is more than just a place to volunteer and sleep — it’s a place where cultures meet, stories are shared, and new friendships are formed. We live on the same property in a separate section of the house, and we genuinely enjoy meeting people from around the world and learning from one another.

🧘‍♀️🎨 What We’re Looking For:

We’re currently looking for kind-hearted and enthusiastic volunteers who would love to:

• Support us with promoting our homestay online (social media, websites, reviews, photography, etc.)

• Assist with small daily tasks such as preparing guest rooms or helping keep things tidy and organized

• Help with creative art projects – this could be painting, decorating, or bringing color and charm to our homestay through your unique talent

• Share skills and knowledge – whether it’s yoga, meditation, music, cooking, or language exchange, we’re happy to host you if you’re open to cultural exchange and have something to teach or share

🏡 What You’ll Experience Here:

Our home is in a peaceful, residential area surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore the city and its popular attractions like the Temple of the Tooth, Royal Botanical Gardens, local markets, and nearby tea plantations.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy:

• A dorm bed with an attached bathroom for your comfort and privacy

• A shared common space just outside your room with a tea and coffee corner for relaxing moments

• Opportunities to experience authentic Sri Lankan cooking — we are happy to prepare traditional meals for you, or even better, cook together if you’re interested!

• A chance to learn about our customs, culture, and daily life from a local family

• If time allows, I’d be happy to take you on small trips to explore the nearby waterfalls, mountain viewpoints, or hidden gems outside the usual tourist trail
